A Card For You!

Kia Ora Everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all had a wonderful time spending time with your friends and family, soon it's New Year for 2022!  For this special Summer Learning Journey, I want to show you a special season card!

( Sorry I forgot that R )

In the front in big capital letters in red and green, the on the bottom a Christmas tree with diffident kinds of gifts. Besides that cookies, a small gingerbread mad, and milk are drawn on because Santa loves cookies and milk. Then a Santa hat because It represents Santa!
Inside there are ornaments, the red one says Friends, the blue one says family, the purple says You! They all say that because we mostly we all spend time with our friends and family and sadly sometimes we have Christmas alone.

Finally, I made a small message for the person reading it, which is you! Have you made any cards for a special someone?

Making A Chemistry Lab!

Kia Ora Everyone!

In this Summer Learning Journey task, I did the step-up task. We go On Minecraft And we have to Make a Chemistry Lab and explain your chemistry lab, the layout, etc. First I have the long tables, they also have Crafting tables to make cool inventions, like how I made my balloon. Then In the next photo is where you make Hydrogen and Helium, after that, you have the animals stuck in a cage waiting to be floating in the air by a balloon filled up with Helium.

The Brewing Stand you make potions like a witch in her wooden hut, you got the chest that is storage for scientists! finally the last photo sadly I can't explain it here but I have written an explanation in the slide about the four blocks! I choose to use an easy layout because I what it to be a place where stuff can be easily found. This is honestly such a fun activity to do and I have learned many things!

Check Out The Photos In This Slide! Have you ever made a structure on Minecraft?

Helium In MIneCraft?

Kia Ora Everyone!

For this Summer Learning Journey task, I went on MineCraft and did a experiment about making a ballon filled with Helium. After that we put the ballon on a cow or chicken, then we take a photo and explain why the balloon filled with helium is going up on our blog. Helium is surprisingly lighter than air because hydrogen and helium atoms are way much lighter than nitrogen atoms. It is used for many things like, for jimmys balloons on his birthday, did you know that helium is expensive because it takes a long time make.

Also Check out the Photos of the flying Animals! Have you ever had a balloon filled with helium?

Kia Ora Everyone!

For this Magical Summer Learning Journey, I got to do magical and fun math tricks on a slide! On the slide, we had 3 math magic tricks to do and then make one of our family members do one of the three or all of them! To do the math trick we got to choose a number and then do multiple stuff with the number like adding, dividing, and multiplying. I got my older brother to do the always 3 slides, check out the slide if he got it right!

Have ever got to do a math magic trick?

Problem Solved👍!

 Kia Ora Everyone!

During this Summer Learning Journey task, I got to do the Minecraft 2020 Hour of code.  The Hour coding was about two Villages being the opposite and we have to solve problems around the two Villages. The easiest thing was I got used to coding by using the blocks and I knew where to put the blocks and what to do. The challenging part was actually understanding the activity because I just keep skipping the dialogue which is dumb of me. But In the end, I understood what the hour of code was showing me because problem-solving is a very important thing for people to know. It can help in a variety of situations, like your stress, a problem that has occurred between your friends, etc.

( Also we got a certificate for completing the task, Check It out! ) Have you ever been In a situation where you solved?

Another Flower, Another Flower, And Another Flower!

 Kia Ora

For this Summer Learning Journey, we got to do the task of making a Mandala. A Mandala is where you grab natural ingredients, like sticks, rocks, leaves, flowers, etc. We had the option of making it in real life or making it digital and using png flowers and more. I picked to make it in real life because I thought it would be easier and It would be more fun in my opinion.

First I grabbed flowers that were bright and friendly in my eyes, they were magenta, reddish pinkish, yellow, and purple flowers. I also got long and big leaves, one of my magenta flowers broke and the pedals broke so then I placed the pedals around. Then I put rocks around my little masterpiece, It was very fun to choose and find the flowers and I think my Mandala is pretty good.

Check out my Mandala! Have you ever made one? If so what materials did you use?

YES! MINECRAFT!

Kia ora Everyone!

For this next Summer learning Journey, for this task, I got to go on Minecraft ( Education Edition ) and Do 'Hour of code lesson 2021', The storyline was about the timeline on earth had errors, like the moon as never discovered and there was thief changing the timeline. We had to pick three out of 10 coding challenges to figure out the thief and change everything back to normal and We had to pick a coding buddy to help us out with the coding.

( I picked Yeti because they were yellow, Yellow and Green are my favorite colors )

The first one I picked was about the thief who stole and hid a trumpet from a musician that was going to be the first person to play jazz with his trumpet. Somehow it was in the wall and we had to get it back by coding our coding buddy to get it back. I pick that one because I love music A LOT!

Next was Leonardo da Vinci's Famous painting the Mona Lisa, I picked this one because I think the Mona Lisa is really cool. The women In the painting were very sad because the timeline thief messed up the fountain, so our mission was to fix it so the women can feel better and Leonardo can finally draw the women.

The last one I picked because science is a cool but confusing thing to me, just like the first one the thief stole and hid samples from a scientist. So I and my coding buddy Yeti had to find the samples, the samples were actually behind a bookshelf.

The coding was quite hard because sometimes I had been confused about where I should put the blocks and what blocks were the right ones. Finding out the Thief was honestly easy because they would hang up a post who was there first and I saw the same person twice. Then after those three tasks, we got to do a Certificate for completing them.

Do you know how to Code?
