Oh no, War!

 Kia ora Everyone!

This week I would love to show an information report that I did in literacy, it's about the " Christmas Truce " that happened in World war 1 in 1914 on 24 December between the British and the German. but sadly the document is unfinished, I will try to update it when I have time!

Check out my Document: A Truce

I got my information from Wikipedia, Britannica kids, history for kids, and videos! This was a blast to research, I found many interesting facts about Gallipoli, World War 1 and 2, etc.

What's your favorite interesting event in world war 1?

Time For ACTION!

 Kia Ora Everyone!

On Wednesday the korimako hub went to the hall with some actors from The Court Theatre to have fun with us!

First, we went into a circle and started with an epic dance party! You could any dance, there were so many types of dance like frogs, jumping, etc. Then into an animal game that you and the person beside, you had to an impression of an animal, whoever did the best would win.

We were put into groups and make an object with our bodies. But we had to do this without talking to each other, the objects were like brushes, stars, and the beach. How many objects can you make with a group?

Lastly, we did a tongue twister and say it as many times as we could say in 30 seconds. It was " Irish Wristwatch " many people got stuck trying to say it properly!

Everyone enjoyed this day, this was a day that many of us can remember!

A Broken Song

Kia Ora everyone!

Today I am going to show you a writing piece that I wrote with my big sister, but It's mostly just me. It's about a 20-year-old girl called Valerie leaving home to find out more about the world and starts to have weird dreams when she's gone. Along her journey she discovers that she has a strong love for music, trying to go round the world to find more about her family secrets along the path.

Sadly The writing is not finished but I will be working on it every day.  There's the link!

A Broken Song

Inspiration

Enola Holmes -  Enola is a very clever girl who lives with her Mother named Eudora but one day Enola wakes up and her Mother is not anywhere to be found. So she used her clever thinking to find her Mother well-finding friends and enemies

Abominable - Yi a girl who had a father who would play the Violin to her all the time but Pasted away. People thought Yi stop playing the violin because of her father but secretly playing on the rooftop. She finds a yeti who escaped from a facility on the rooftop, Yi and her friends will help the yeti go Home. But some want's to capture the yeti.

( I recommend watching both of these movies because they are Great! )
